These tours
depart from Nairobi and vary in duration from three to six days.
The cost is around 55.00 Euro per person per day for days walking
and 80 Euro for game driving days within the parks, depending on the
group size and includes: transport to/from Nairobi, meals whilst
on safari, camping equipment, Park entry fees, game drive, guide
fees, and local taxes.
The cost does not include: sodas and alcohol, sleeping bags/blankets,
personal insurance, items of a personal nature.

Maasai
Mara - 3 Days/2 Nights
Day
1
Depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara, descending the Escarpment and
driving along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We take a lunch
stop at the Maasai town of Narok and purchase any last-minute supplies.
The road into the Mara can be a little rough at times but there
is always the possibility of spotting game as we approach the Reserve.
We arrive near the main gate at Sekenani around mid-afternoon and
stop at a local manyatta (village) for our overnight stay. The Maasai
who live in the manyatta will make you feel very welcome and, for
those who wish to stretch the legs after the drive from Nairobi,
a short walk (2-3hours) in the surrounding area can be arranged.
During the evening we will have our dinner around the campfire,
listening to the sounds of the manyatta and talking to the warriors
about their lifestyle.
Day
2
After breakfast we say goodbye to our hosts and enter the Reserve
for a day of game driving. The Mara is famous worldwide for the
annual immigration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra from the
Serengeti during July to October. Apart from the spectacle of the
migration, the Mara is rich in resident game with over 95 species
recorded. These include the “Big Five” –elephant,
rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard-as well as giraffe, hippo, hyena,
cheetah, crocodile and numerous antelope. The reserve is also rich
in bird life with over 480 species recorded.
Around 12.30pm we stop for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pools on
the Mara River and spend a couple of hours relaxing. In the afternoon
we game drive towards our designated campsite for dinner and a shower.
Day
3
This morning you have the opportunity to take another walk in the
area surrounding the campsite, giving you the chance to learn a
little more about the Maasai and working up an appetite for lunch!
In the afternoon we start our return journey to Nairobi, arriving
in the city in the early evening.
Maasai
Mara - 4 Days/3 Nights
Day
1

We leave the camp accompanied by Maasai warriors and spend the day
walking through grassland and acacia bush outside the Reserve. Along
the way there is the possibility of spotting game (mainly antelope)
and to learn something about the vegetation used by the Maasai.
A stop is made for a picnic lunch before heading to a manyatta (village)
for an overnight stay. During the evening we will have our dinner
around the campfire, listening to the sounds of the manyatta and
talking to the warriors about their lifestyle.
A night spent under a star-studded sky is a memorable moment in
Africa, and to be enjoyed around an open campfire.
Day
4
In the morning we return to the campsite for a late breakfast and
a welcome shower! The return journey to Nairobi takes us back through
Narok and we arrive in the city in the early evening.
Loita
Hills – Lake Magadi(Nguruman) to Maji Moto. 6 Days/5 Nights
BE
AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT A TOURIST STROLL. IT IS A TRUE EXPERIENCE
OF THE AFRICAN BUSH. CONDITIONS ARE BASIC, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING
TO BE PART OF NATURE AND AFRICAN BUSH LIFE, THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE
NOT TO BE MISSED.
Day 1
Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the Great Rift
Valley to Lake Magadi,South West of Nairobi. Lunch is taken near
the soda ash factory, the second largest in the world, then proceed
to the village of Nguruman, which is the starting point of the walk.
The first walk is approximately 10km, 4 hours walk, to the campsite
at the top of the escarpment. From here, you can see Mt Oldoinyo
Lengai an active volcano and Lake Natron, which are both in Tanzania.
Spend
the night in Morijo.
Day
2
After breakfast, trek for -6-7 hours , 16 km through loita hills
rain forest which is very dense. On this trek you can encounter
zebras, gazelle, wildebeest, elephants, buffalos and various other
animals, plus more than 250 species of birds..In the evening we
have a camp fire with the Maasais performing their traditional dances.
Dinner and overnight in Enkutoto.
Day
3
An early start for the days trek which takes 7-8hours ,16 km past
farms which belong to the smallest tribe, closely related to the
Maasai called Dorobo. Originally they were hunters and gatherers
.Lunch is taken at the village of Narosora before proceeding by
the southern trail in plains to the camp for dinner and overnight
.
Day
4
After leaving the camp, the trail continues through the “Lost
Child” forest and down to the plains, which are teaming with
game, to umbrella camp . It takes 6-7 hours for 14 km.In the evening,
spend time in the Maasai village .Dinner and overnight.
Day
5
De-camp and depart at 7.30 am hike for 6-7 hours ,14 km past Maasai
villages ,dry river beds and big herds of Maasai cows. On arrival
in Maji Moto late in the evening, we set up camp for dinner and
overnight .
Day
6
. After breakfast,
take a walk to the hot spring for showers. After that, visit the
only government school in this area .Hike to the Loita Hills view
point, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the plains and
the Maasai villages Below. Have lunch at the camp ,De- camp, then
get picked up and drive back either to Nairobi or head to Maasai
Mara if you wish to continue on a game driving safari.
NB:
Water is purified en-route. It is not bottled water.
You will be accompanied by Maasai
Guide and support team. This itinerary is the general programme,
but may have to be modified from time to time because of weather
and conditions, or because of different levels of fitness.
THIS TRIP CAN ALSO BE DONE IN REVERSE.
